Mid-Country Audiophiles (MCA) officially launched with a bang at the Texas Region Kickoff event, hosted alongside the Texas SQ Community. With a 3X multiplier on the line, competitors delivered outstanding performances judged by Mike Leal, Mike Myers, and Richard Papasin — averaging three sets of expert ears.

DIY builds, shop-built rigs, and first-timers all shared the lanes — exactly what MCA was designed for. Competitors focused on the music, tuned for realism, and delivered some truly stunning sound.
